Kota Tua

Another adventure time with Raivan and Indra. This time we went to Kota Tua in Jakarta. As long as I can remember, that day was so hot that I'm sweating so much.

We spent our first one hour to look for the place to take the photos but It didn't go as planned. The place that Indra meant to be was reconstructed to cafe so we decide to take photos in Museum Bank Indonesia. But then again we need the permission and pay to take photos.

We decided to go back home but in the way we found this place which I don't remember anymore where is it (it still in Kota Tua tho)

In The Mood for Polka Dots

I usually adore stripes more than polka dots. I don't know what is in my mind that day. Wearing polka dots with the cute headband was rarely "my things" (steal the headband from my sister).

Apart from the polka dots and the headband, I do love the back of this jumpsuit. It shows off my back and my mole. Talking about my mole, I don't know if it's been there since I was kid, but I just realised it when I was in high school (sorry for saying this random things).

Anyway, managed to do the standing splits even though it's harder when you have your heels on.

Summertime Madness with Sissy

This photos actually there because I'm joining TopshopXOOTDINDO competition.
So the competition is about your summer time with your sister/BFF and luckily just in time, I went back to Malang so I met my sister. Somehow we made this competition to opportunity to win some Topshop shopping vouchers (neither of us can't resist the temptation of shopping vouchers)

Before sharing the photos, I want you to know more about my sister, Nydia (click here for her Instagram). She's old now (not that old, just 24 years old) and she's getting married next year (too bad guys, she's not available anymore). She's actually the one who made me aware of what I wore, kinda like my fashion leader.

Anyway, her style is completely the opposite of mine. She always wear anything colourful and adore polka dots so badly while I rather use dark colour and stripes. She loves everything cute that sometimes creep me out. Even her Instagram's feeds are so bright and lively.

So here are some photos that we both took a couple days ago. The combination between the colourful and the achromatic girls.

Photo credits goes to my mom. Sorry I can't get you my own OOTD photos. I'm actually in hurry when we took this photos because I had to go to airport and catch the flight.

Wish us win the competition !

Forearm Stand

This is my favourite pose for all time. It's forearm stand and I just learned it when I was in college. It took me about 6 months without fully practicing everyday to balance myself in this pose. And finally I could touch my head with my toes already now. Doing this pose is not really that easy because you should have strength in your arm, so I learned headstand first before I learn this pose. When you do forearm stand, you need your back strength and flexibility. So whenever I do forearm stand, usually I warming up my back first (well, you should warm up actually).

Here are my forearm stand journey. (Sorry for the bad quality on some photos)

Try to balance your headstand first before you try forearm stand.
Don't afraid to fall when you learn headstand. I do fall a couple times but just make sure that there's pillow behind you.

I took this photo by self-timer because I wanted to see how far I can go with my forearm stand.
I use my bed to make me balance but it only last for a seconds.

This was the very first time I tried forearm stand without anything behind me.
I fell to the pool after that tho.

This picture was taken last year on my trip to Bali. I still fell after that but I could manage myself to fall into bridge pose so it didn't hurt at all.

My favourite photos of all. Taken when I attended 5K Color Run.

And finally I can touch my head with my feet now. Somehow I feel proud to myself that I finally can reach my target. Sharing this post actually because I want you to know that even you can do this. All you have to do is make a target so you have a motivation to practice. I hope this post inspiring you to exercise more because being healthy is a must !

Yoga Journey

It's been a while since I updated my blog now and I still can't figure out how to use it properly, lol. Anyway, apart for sharing about my fashion life, I also wanna share the one that bring the most impact to my life, yoga.

I think I started to learn yoga when I was in 10th grade. The thing is, I'm a type of a person who get bored so quickly. I did excited to do most of activities but later I got bored and stopped. I have tried a lot of things like wushu, aikido, muay thai, horse-riding, badminton and even swimming, but it all stopped. Nothing but yoga grew on me. It just became a different thing for my lifestyle. I do feel lazy to do yoga sometimes but in the end I still do it even though it just warming up in my room.

Since I've learned ballet before, my body wasn't really stiff and I already have a little bit flexibility
thing on me. So when I started yoga, I could follow up the flow quickly. But yoga is not that easy as I think. It took my body to the next level. I'm trying to learn my limits and keep practicing to push that limits. It not just about flexibility but also strength and balance. For me strength is the hardest one. I always shake a lot whenever the yoga poses is about the strength of my body.

Well, Yoga is a process tho. Doing yoga make yourself know how far your limit is. When you repeat the practice over and over again, somehow you started to push that limit. When I looked back to my yoga journey, It brings joy to me that I finally can push that limit and trying something new after that. Since I can balanced myself when I do forearm stand, I go to my next target, handstand. Wish me luck !

Rough Happy Week

It's been a while since I updated my blog. Last time I wrote about my relationship with my ex, but suddenly decided to delete it because I think it's too private to be published in social media. So here I am now, trying not to share any private things anymore.

Anyway, this last couple weeks were so bad. College didn't go friendly on me, but I'm glad there're friends sticking around me. Also there was a good news for myself that I wanted to share to all of you.

I just started doing OOTD and Instagram things this years and I felt there were a lot changes on me (which is good). Being known by people suddenly become one of my interests and I'm so excited to be featured on Lookbook.nu

But when I received this news, I was so happy but also guilty as hell. A couple minutes before it, I just somehow teasing one of my friends and then kick him but that made him fell and hurt his leg. He didn't mad though, but I knew he was annoyed by my joke. I felt so sorry to him that I cried because I didn't want anything bad happen to him. He never being so quiet to me before and suddenly he just kept silent that night. Gladly, a couple hours after that he started to talk to me again and it's such a relief.

Being quiet actually one of my problems. I like to tease my friends and sometimes it's getting way too much and annoyed them. I'm trying to get rid this bad habit though. I hope I can cooperate with myself next time.
